Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy

 The management of AED LOGISTIX cc striving for excellence in all we do recognises the impact that our activities may have on people and the environment.

AED LOGISTIX cc was launched in September 2011 as a business within the South African Breweries (SAB / AB-InBev) Owner Driver scheme. Over the past nine years, we have grown from strength to strength to navigate within the logistics arena. This experience, cultivated supplier relationships, and skilled resources are what enable us to offer a reliable, high-quality, compliant service.

Our Health and Safety Mission

AED LOGISTIX cc is committed to implement and maintain, as far as is reasonably practicable, the activities of the company in such a manner as to prevent harm or damage to persons and property respectfully.

Safety, health and protection of the environment forms an integral part of our planning and decision making. We manage our company and wherever we do business, in an ethical way that strikes an appropriate and well-reasoned balance between economic, social and environmental needs.

We are committed to:

  1. Conducting our business with respect and care for people and the environment
  2.  Responsible utilisation of natural resources
  3. Continually improving our safety, health and environmental performance
  4. Complying, as a minimum, with all applicable legal and other agreed requirements
  5. Promoting dialogue with stakeholders about safety, health and environmental performance

We will achieve these by:

  1. Implementing a safety, health, environmental management system
  2. Informing and appropriately training all employees and contractors on safety, health and environmental matters
  3. Responding effectively to safety, health and environmental emergencies involving our activities and products
  4. As far as reasonably practicable, providing appropriate resources required to implement the above
  5. Ensure that the health, safety and environmental policy is reviewed at periods not exceeding three years from the effective date or by a date set by the Chief Executive Officer
